Bedgebury

Our second adventure of 2025 came but a day after our first. This was also a true family day out.

Jamie, Lauren, and Yogi headed off to Bedgebury to meet their dear friends, inclusive of their baby and doggo.

It was a lovely day, cold but we had all wrapped up warm. Yogi was chuffed at having his own friend to explore with and it was also his 2nd birthday! We travelled up past the huge pond/lake and went for a lovely long walk within the forestry. We got a little bit lost as forgot what path we were on, and even met the gruffalo.

This place was nice and cosy not to mention extremely vast. There are hours of fun to spend here with your little ones and doggies. There are several different paths to explore based on your intent or stamina, not to mention a mountain biking path and even a cafe to chill in.

Not only did we see people partaking in a special fun run round the park, but we also saw quite a few horses being rode up some of the paths we explored.

This is quite the place for everyone and gave us all an opportunity to catch up and chat while being at one with nature. There are streams, lakes, rocks, and of course lots of trees. The question is can you follow the hints to discover the secrets hidden within?

It's also worth mentioning all you have to pay for is parking, so it's a no brainer!

The best bit about this is the fact that even though it was winter, the whole place just screamed autumnal vibes. A little spooky, full of colours, calm but with a 80% chance of being lost forever, everything you want from a green space. There isn't any attractions here per say as nature is the focus point, but aside from hidden statues to hunt, you pretty much make your own day out as special as you can.

We enjoyed this one as it was quite a relaxing adventure to a place we had never been before. There were no expectations, just a chill dog walk with our friends while refreshing our souls.
